MEFA Paying the College Bill Seminar

Whitman-Hanson is hosting a MEFA Paying the College Bill Seminar.  

MEFA Paying the College Bill Seminar for Seniors and Their Parents, Tuesday, March 28
Parents and students are invited to attend a free seminar on “Paying the College Bill”, which will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:30 PM in the Dr. John F. McEwan Performing Arts Center at WHRHS. This seminar is offered through MEFA, the Commonwealth’s authority on planning, saving, and paying for college. An experienced MEFA representative will provide an overview of the college payment process, including the details of financial aid award letters, using payment plans, different financing options, and how to minimize debt. Before the seminar, be sure to visit MEFA’s website — mefa.org — to download a copy of the seminar presentation and explore other tools and resources to assist you in the college planning process. Also, please bring your child’s financial aid award letters with you for questions after the seminar.

AP Exams

To ensure a seat for your AP exam(s) in May, you need to sign up in the Guidance Office. A minimum non-refundable deposit of $20 (cash or check) per test is due no later than Friday, February 17th and is required for Silver Lake to order you an exam.  The price per test is $93 and can be paid in full at any time. Please make checks out to Silver Lake Regional High School. Feel free to see you AP teacher or counselor for more information.

Financial Aid Night
