PSAT Information
The PSAT is a preliminary (or practice) SAT. It is offered on Saturday, October 18th at Silver Lake Regional High School (7:45 am arrival with the test going from 8:00 am to roughly 10:45 am). In order to register students must sign up in the guidance office (the cost is $23 cash or check made out to SLRHS). This important test will help students become familiar with the format of the SAT in addition to finding out where their strengths and weaknesses lie. We recommend that all 11th graders planning on any sort of post secondary education after high school take the PSAT. We also urge any 10th grader in an advanced track in geometry and English take the exam as well. Please contact your guidance counselor to discuss if the PSAT is right for your student.
